We visited for dinner. We were attracted to the delicious-looking menu and reasonable prices. I appreciate the fact that they have bread service--it's not super common anymore and I always love it! I got a chicken sandwich that had some pesto aioli or some such, My husband had the beef wellington.

He wasn't into the puff pastry medallions that were placed on top of the meat he's crazy like that , but the meat was sooooo succulent. It was fabulous! I pilfered his roasted Brussels sprouts because I found them incredibly tasty too. They tasted caramelized and I think would've gone well alongside an Asian dish of some sort too.

Some friend were visiting from out of town and we were going to the Derek Hough show so we had dinner here.

When we got there around 5PM we didn't have more than a 10 minute wait. Service was great and so was the food. One of my friends had fish and chips and another had shrimp scampi and they also loved their meals.

The portions were very large so we all had food to bring home. Would definitely eat here again. Thanks for your review. We sat in the main dining room which is away from the casino.

We can't wait for your next visit. We ate breakfast here 2 out of 4 days while in Vegas. The portions are very large and the menu has plenty to chose from. Both of the servers we had were quick and attentive. We would definitely dine here again next time we are Thank you so much for this review. The service was great, the drinks were tasty. The food was really good. I am always down for some good chicken and waffles and these were so far the best I've found anywhere. I've heard this is a great spot Their hours are probably still limited for various reasons, but I heard that in normal times they are open 24 hours or at least very late, a great place to stop any time of the day.

As for some little issues I can't fault the restaurant for these, so I'm still giving 5 stars. The wait time was about an hour if vegas is busy this is an average wait, very worth the wait to eat here.

We submitted our name and set out to explore the property a bit and get some coffee. They have a text message system where they text when ready, but these systems didn't work anywhere in Vegas for us, everyone blamed the carrier.

Overall I enjoyed working at Grand Lux Cafe. The management were pretty cool as long as you do what you supposed to do. Pros Location, good pay. Cons Short breaks, night customers. Way too much pressure for such a little pay! People talk about you in different languages in front of your face! I did have fun here but I was in constant pain from working I had no breaks and I always stayed late! Pros Food, benefits. Cons Wishy-washy coworkers, behind the scene management, low pay. Pros Insurance, flexible. Cons Favoritism, lack of manager support. Care to share? Help people considering your employer. Share your experience. If you make a mistake they definitely let you know about it and are unhappy. But if you go months without any errors no one says a word of encouragement. For a server job it seems very consistent as far as being busy. Chicken and Peacan waffles are delicious. It would be nice to have whole wings but once you taste the waffles, you dont care about the chicken strips.

Fast service, so so food quality. Staff seemed to have difficulty in assisting me with gluten-free items and a request of no black pepper.

I only had breakfast here and it was amazing. The Omelette was huge and the Hashbrowns were a generous portion. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for some good quality food. Good food at a decent price. Service was also good and the wait was minimal. We always have a great meal at the Grand Lux.

Wonderful variety The bad: Management was ok except for when they want you to follow the rules but they follow completely different rules. They will blame you for something out of your control sometimes and then leave you to deal with the backlash from the guests or fix future problems. The good: The food! Some co-workers were great and it was a positive environment. Management does not care about the staff, they lie in the interview just to get you hired and place you in another position. This grand Lux is the worst, it needs to be shut down.

Pros Good food. Health care benefits. Cons No breaks, stressful environment. They are grossly understaffed because they do not pay well compared to how busynit is and how hard you work. They will work you 7 days, including doubles if you don't flatout refuse. Upper management sure doesn't put in extra hours. They leave the night shift with not enough people for the business we get. Pros Job security. Cons Low pay for work performed, understaffed, and management that expects us to work all the time when they themselves will not.

A total mess led by poor management, no accountability for anything and food is not anywhere special. Fast food is better.
