Knowing that this woman cares more about being stubborn and rude than the customers that support her makes me never want to return here again.
Not only was she rude to me, but to her staff as well. The place could be great, but apparently was put in the wrong hands. We went to the bar and had a few drinks Wish we did not waste money on drinks waiting Food was gross. Our waiter was too busy talking to other waitresses and ignored us. I will not return. Yummy, Strong, Fun I found this cool little spot. My girlfriends and i went in for dinner this past weekend.
We had a blast. The pitcher of house margaritas, although inexpensive, were of complete quality. Our server was outlandish and over the top, but made sure we were entertained and having fun. The chips were addicting but worth it. When dinner was over we moved to the bar area. I recommend this place to anyone looking to have a great time! One note - this is NOT a quiet place on the weekends! Will never come here again! If you want good margaritas and a fun atmosphere go to the Rio.
The staff at Lime was very rude, and the bar and bathroom smelled like p u k e. I ordered the fried shrimp poppers and they were cold and mushy. There are much better places to go in Denver than here!!!! Medicore food, tacky night spot — I have been to the Larimer location a few times, including a birthday and an after work event and both times was really turned off by the just-turnedand-can-drink crowd that make up a majority of the clientele--or those somethings that wish they were The food is mediocre--nothing to write home about--though their chips and salsa which they bring to all the tables are really yummy.
Their drinks are pretty good--my mojitos and gin and tonics were very strong which was a welcome change!! Overall, however, the restaurant turns into a tacky club at night with bad dj's and a crowd that is nothing short of obnoxious. The atmosphere is so nice, the prices are very reasonable, the bar and surrounding area is a great place to hang out with friends, and the drinks are amazing!
I would suggest this place if you're searching for a nice atmosphere without the snobby staff and just wants to have a good time. Lime is a great place to bring out of town guests too!!! Average food, strong drinks — Lime Call ahead is definitely something to do if you intend to eat here on a weekend ngiht.
The front desk gals get snippy, so make sure you get there on time, and don? We waiting a bit, less than they anticipated, so that was a bonus. The patio was packed and not available, so we were seating in the center of the room? It was damn loud! The chips and salsa were excellent! Fabulous flavor. Too strong. Not even enjoyable strong. There were at least 4 bridal parties there.. The bartenders were busy as could be delivering the drinks that get given to brides that you can?
I went with the combo plate, it was less than spectacular, friends went with the Chimichangas and they really enjoyed them. We also got some Scorpian Bites jalapeno wrapped shrimp, stuffed with spicy jack cheese.
They were not hot, flavor was ok. And when we did get our food it was not nearly as temperature hot as I would have liked. I can? One minute, you're standing in the middle of crazy Larimer Square, and then you walk down rhe stairs into cool and hot LIME! THe servers are funny, smart and hot!
Irts the perfect date spot. The food is really good chimichanga!!! It's downtown, without the bad parts of downtown. Hip place without the high price tag — This restaurant is one of my favorites here in Denver. If you're looking for a trendy atmosphere with good, reasonable food, I really suggest you come to Lime. I attended my friend Samantha's bday party here this past Saturday night and had a very positive experience.
I had homemade tomales with a margarita and both had wonderful flavor. It was really nice being downtown in a hip establishment without putting a massive dent in my wallet! I will be returning very soon. Fun Restaurant! The staff was hilarious and really catered to our group. I love the chips and salsa here, they are very filling though.
I had the smothered burrito and we shared scorpions for an appetizer. Everything tasted great. Trendy atmosphere without the attitudewhich is why we keep coming back!! Salt, Salt, and more Salt!!! But their chicken tortilla soup was so salty I couldn't even eat it. Then when we told our waiter it was too salty all he said was "yeah we have been getting that complaint lately".
I didn't eat it and they still had us pay for it! I would never recommend this resturant and I will never go back. Excellent fresh mexican with great crowd — This is a great place to take guests from out of town. It is a downtown hideaway on Larimer Square. I chose the margarita mahi mahi special. It was amazing. I have never cleared my plate as fast. A geat vibe with a young crowd. Beautiful staff and great atmopshere.
I can't wait to go back! It looks like a bad attempt to create a trendy Mexican restaurant. I went with a friend and we were seated. The chairs and booths are black and there was chip crumbs over many of them kinda gross. There were many dirty tables and I think one waitress. I had the Spinach Quesadia and bean soup-Neither had any flavor. I didn't try the margaritas so maybe it's one of those places you just go for drinks, because I wouldn't go back for the food.
LOVE this place! Every time I go, I receive the best service and food. I have brought many out of town guests here and everyone loves it. Their chips and salsa are the best in Denver, and the Scorpions are phenominal as well!!
This place is so nice, but is not full of pretentious people like some places here in town.
