Spoon restaurant philadelphia

I had the beet salad with blackened salmon on top and it was perfectly cooked and yummy and left enough room for the wonderful homemade ice cream maple walnut. Great ending to a great meal. Never had a bad meal here! It is also the kind of place where you feel like you can linger without taking advantage of servers, of course! I like the regular items and how they change the menu with the seasons! Highly recommend. Michael is the best Maitre D ever and makes everyone feel welcome!

Food was great, lovely outdoor seating, appropriately spaced out. Will be back! Wonderful food and BYOB. Must get the braised short rib and also the pork tenderloin…… both delicious! Delicious meal from appetizers to entrees! The salmon and pork tenderloin were delectable and the service was very attentive and friendly. Ambiance only got 3 stars because we dined on the patio which faces a small parking lot.

Since it was evening, there was no traffic or noise from the lot -- it just wasn't as appealing as it could be.

Alwxyx good good and the best bacon anywhere!! Enjoyable evening. Great food selection and preparation Always a favorite. Had an absolutely wonderful and memorable lunch at Silverspoon with a girlfriend. The food and service was superb. And a special shout out to Michael who took such terrific care of us - we will be back again soon! The food, as always, was amazing! Silverspoon and Michael never disappoint!

The dining area and patio were completely booked and everything came out of the kitchen in the proper time a was delicious. Their mushroom bisque is an all time favorite that we both enjoyed followed by arugula salad and shrimp entre for me and the short ribs for my dinner partner. Desert was made in house truffles and black cherry and almond ice cream. So happy we decided on the Silverspoon and will definitely be back again! Great experience and outdoor dining special place.

Another great meal at Silver Spoon. Great service too even though they seemed to be short staffed. The staff hustled and did their best! Menu has improved with food selections covering several categories fish, beef, pork, etc. Food was tasty but with smaller portions. Overall we were pleased with the changes and will be returning. Love the mushroom bisque always … love our waiter Michael he rocks.

Tried the Brussel sprouts with hummus.. The quiche and turkey grilled on rye also delicious. Love this place.. Thanks for always providing an awesome experience.

Delicious brunch! Everything was freshly cooked and well presented. Attractive outside patio area, and friendly, prompt service! Amazing food, ambiance, and service! Recommend the brussels sprouts and hamburger with truffle fries. Out of this world. However, I realized that the excitement faded after I finished the meal. I would often think, "That's all? Nothing else? My appetite was satisfied, but my palate was not. That's when I learned that Philadelphia restaurants with tasting menus were the solution to my craving.

Out of all the Philadelphia restaurants with tasting menus that I have tried, here are my all-time favorites:. I discovered this American-fare bistro through local restaurant searches and reviews over the years, not realizing it offered a tasting menu until my first visit. The front window of the restaurant is open to the outdoors, creating a friendly and inviting environment.

Our server explained the flexibility of the prix fixe menu and the option for certain substitutions from the regular menu to be included. I selected the lobster rangoon special for my appetizer, seared duck breast pictured for my main course, and fried oreos for dessert. The portions were perfectly-sized and paired well with a bottle of white wine. I also enjoyed the complimentary bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar throughout the meal, so much so that I even spilled a bit on my blue dress.

The homemade fried oreos were an outrageous indulgence to top off a worthwhile and affordable three-course dinner. I found Zahav absolutely worth the two-month wait for a reservation. This restaurant near Penn's Landing is so popular that it is often booked for months at a time. After hearing overwhelming positive reviews of the dining experience from friends and online articles, my boyfriend and I were dying to visit.
